Cedar House was not only a beautiful place but the family there made it feel like home. From the spacious clean rooms giving the place an elegant rustic touch and the home cooked Michelin star breakfast this place with make you feel like your waking up in Tuscany and you will not be ready to leave. We rented out the entire B&B plus rooms at their other new location on the water for our engagement party and our family was welcomed with open arms. They have a beautiful vineyard on site with outdoor fire pits to relax near at night, the inside includes a bar, huge kitchen, pool table gaming area, and each room is equipped with its own elegant bathroom. This is luxury meets farmhouse chic and we loved every moment of it. They provided us with top notch service and even set up our room with a hand dated wine bottle and flowers for our return the night of our engagement party. We will be returning and I highly recommend for any event or couple just wanting a romantic weekend away. One of my favorite places to stay.
Had an absolutely perfect weekend staying here. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and were very knowledgeable about the area. They even coordinated a car service for us to use in between vineyards. The (two-course!) breakfast that he made was phenomenal and would probably cost a fortune in the city. The house itself was lovely and inviting, perfect for groups of any size. The couple also owns another restaurant/bar in the area which was a blast. This is the type of place you visit and instantly want to go back - hope to return soon!
Went here to see if they hosted weddongs, it is a shame they do not. Breath taking place absolutely beautiful and super friendly staff.
We just spent a wonderful weekend at Cedar House on Sound. Our room was beautiful. There is a wonderful tasting room/bar. We sat around the fire pit for a bit yesterday with glass of wine. The two breakfasts we had were absolutely delicious. Our host, Dave, even helped us plan out our day yesterday. Close to everything. I highly recommend spending a few days at Cedar House. You will not be disappointed!
