I have been a patient for over 20 years. Recently the practice has expanded and the care gone straight into the toilet. I have been suffering with Chronic Pain for several weeks and have no medication that is working. After 2 calls and 2 faxes over a 5 day period and never once receiving the courtesy of a call back, I popped into the office today. I was told my dr wasn't there and the PA would address my concerns at the end of the day. The office was empty and I could see someone, I assume the PA, hiding around the corner , listening to the conversation. I asked why I had to wait to the end of the day to have my concerns addressed. I was told the same thing: the PA would address my concerns at the end of the day. I replied if that meant I would at least get a call back and was told that could not be guaranteed. I then asked for the emergency call service number for the Dr. and was told I would have to wait for the office to close at 3 PM(5 hours later), listen to the answering machine message and the emergency service number was on that. I responded how could you, the receptionist, not know the number of the Dr's emergency call service. She replied with a straight face she never listened to the message after the office was closed.
